It was a standard weekday pick up. I put Shelby in the car after school and she requested a "snack" which is our term for the squeezie packs of fruit puree. Last week, there were some yogurt squeezies on sale, so I grabbed a couple of those.
Shelby took one slurp, pulled it out of her mouth and exclaimed "creamy!" I had never heard her use this word and certainly not in the correct context. She said it with a chuckle, as if she knew it would elicit a laugh. I pulled out my phone and asked that she recite her new word again - enjoy!
