First Swim Lesson

Swimming was a huge part of my childhood. Aside from time with my parents and siblings, some of my most fond memories of childhood are either from the pool or from the pool deck. With that in mind, you can imagine my excitement to get Shelby into her very first swim lesson.....although I cannot tell who was more excited - me or my fearless torpedo Shelby!

She wore her goggles in the car and then marched right up to the glass, hoping it was her turn.

Once in the pool she was fearless and in constant motion. She was a great listener and tried her best to do what was being asked of her. This class is focused on survival...holding breath, rolling over, getting out of the pool - things of that nature. Cheers to my little dolphin!
